OBJECTIVE: To consult and advise the Swedish women’s league association on its media rights strategy for top league “Damallsvenskan” and support its long term development plan. To find the best possible broadcast partner for 132 live matches each season as well as highlights, interviews, news and feature programming. To assist in reaching a growing supporter base with a fresh media product, distributed across multiple platforms.
SOLUTION: For 2015 all 132 matches are being broadcasted by Swedish channels TV4 Play, TV4 Sport and TV12. For coming years discussions are ongoing with stakeholders and potential partners. Outcome will be presented here once it has been officially announced.
