Hockeytech & Spring Media announce media rights agreement for 5 European professional hockey leagues


All league games will be broadcast on HockeyTV in North America, adding 1,500 games to the HockeyTV lineup.


Waterloo, Ontario, Canada & Stockholm, Sweden (May 12, 2020) – HockeyTech and Spring Media announce an exclusive media rights agreement for the North American market. HockeyTech will broadcast on its HockeyTV streaming platform live and on-demand coverage of all games from the following five European professional hockey leagues:


  • Tipsport ExtraligaCzech Premier League
  • Tipsport LigaSlovak Premier League
  • Optibet Hokeja LigaLatvian Premier League
  • Synerglace Ligue MagnusFrench Premier League
  • Fédération Française de Hockey sur Glace Division 1French Tier 2 League

These additions will bring the schedule to over 50 leagues broadcasting on the HockeyTV platform, including such professional leagues as the AHL (American Hockey League) and SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League). Fans will be able to access all games live and on-demand by subscribing to either a monthly or annual plan at Watch at, as well as across all screens including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Apple iOS, and Android apps.
