Spring Media to market the Swedish Speedway League
Spring Media, the Stockholm based sports media rights agency, will exclusively represent the media rights of the top Swedish Speedway League “Elitserien”. The agency has signed agreements with the Federation (Svemo) and the Club Association (ESS) with the purpose of increasing the exposure and commercial revenues of Swedish speedway. The contract is for five years, 2018-2022, and covers domestic and international broadcast rights across all media platforms.
Elitserien is among the strongest leagues in the world with all top ranked speedway riders represented. The league is the third most popular in Sweden in terms of attendance, just behind men’s top Football league “Allsvenskan”, and men’s top Ice Hockey league “SHL”. The sport has a rural profile and all eight clubs are the most popular team in their respective home towns. Speedway is one of few sports in Sweden that has seen a steady increase in audience figures in recent years.

Spring Media is in the process of reviewing the production and packaging of Elitserien and will thereafter initiate discussions with domestic and international media companies.
